Your sleeping position can affect the health of your back.

Sleep on your back or on your side, not on your stomach. When you sleep on your side, keep your knees together rather than having one leg thrown up toward your chest or out to the side.

If you sleep on your back, keep your arms at your sides or on your stomach or chest, rather than over your head.

Sleep position can be a hard thing to change, so if you sleep on your stomach try putting small pillows on each side.

You can also place a small pillow between your knees if it’s uncomfortable to keep them together.
