High doses of zinc can get rid of angina pain. Nobody’s really sure why this works, but it does.
Take 180–300 mg of zinc daily for 14 days. Look for zinc gluconate or zinc acetate, as lozenges or tablets.
Zinc competes with copper for absorption, so when you’re taking this much zinc it can’t hurt to increase your copper intake as well, to 10 mg a day.
